Now I'm a huge huge lover of the tubby cav, but you do realise they're more of a project than a regular daily driver. Scour ebay and buy every spare you come across, especially transfer boxes, acumulator bulbs, diffs, gear boxes and engine components.

Buy a run about, strip the tubby down and restore it then spend lots of time enjoying and polishing it!!!

see i have a old hatchback thing called cdx v6 vectra plus my work is 5mins from my front door and my best mate is vauxhall machanic currently rebuilding a transam v8
