prob been asked a million times before but hey, if you take the vaux head unit out and put an after market one in, how do you stop the date going off on the dash display screen whenever you switch it on? cheers peeps

neva does that on my veccy but i think it sumit to do with the block at the back of the unit were the wires r

The date and time will stay on the screen as will the temp, its the digital display from the H.U that you lose.

yeah everything stays on except when i turn it on the date goes out, im sure theres a wire you have to cut but i cant remember which one it is

I think it's the red/grey wire but don't quote me on that.
